The idea of creating a robot was came in 2013. The initial concept as the main objective was to produce a single-axis robot, which would significantly increase its mobility for example, changing the direction of travel "in place" by varying the direction of rotation of the wheels. This change caused the use of separate engines for each wheel. The concept also included a system that supports driving in difficult terrain. This function was supposed to be a crawler system permanently mounted in the resulting workstation, to be used in the case of overcoming thresholds, stairs or debris. The third option to move the robot was to be able to perform jumps. This option would be used to overcome large obstacles (such as ditches, cliffs, etc.) or artificial (fences, walls). The robot would also be equipped with a vision system and wireless control. This allow to be used in hazardous areas and reduce the operator risk.
