Spectrum Filaments establishes an Americas Division
Spectrum Filaments is expanding the scope of its activities. From now on, our filaments through Spectrum Filaments Americas are now available in the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.
For us, this is a key step in the strategy of expanding the global distribution network of Spectrum Filaments. We believe that this will ensure our customers quick service and availability of a wide range of materials in all the listed markets of the Americas.
The development of the distribution network is closely related to the expansion of the range of consumables available. In 2020, Spectrum Filaments added to its offer medical materials - ABS Medical and PET-G FX120. ABS Medical is a material made of granules that meet the requirements of biological compliance of USP certificates in class VI or ISO 10993-1, thanks to which 3D prints made from it are biocompatible. PET G FX120, in turn, is characterized by mechanical strength and temperature up to 120 ° C. Due to this fact, the finished elements can be subjected to high-temperature steam sterilization, so the material can be used to manufacture elements related to, among others prosthetics.
At the end of April this year, we also installed another production line, allowing to increase production capacity to 24 tons per month. Thanks to this, we can easily implement a growing basket of orders coming from around the world.
